There is something compelling about a campaign that refuses to explain itself too quickly. For Fall/Winter 2026, Miu Miu enters the half-light: an industrial blue landscape in which Hailey Bieber and Xiao Wen Ju appear less posed than momentarily revealed. Zoe Ghertner’s images are cool, compressed and tactile, turning a flash of leather, washed cashmere or embroidered tulle into evidence of a private world.
The clothes work through contradiction. Shearling outerwear protects and exaggerates; lingerie details expose without surrendering control. A trapper hat, an opera coat, a knee-high boot: each familiar object is sharpened by proportion and context. Even the accessories carry this tension. Soft bags suggest ease, while dark, 1970s-inflected eyewear makes privacy look assertive.
Miu Miu’s power has long resided in such unstable distinctions: girlish and worldly, vulnerable and exacting, nostalgic and entirely present. Here, those qualities are not resolved but held in suspension. The campaign understands that style is most persuasive when it becomes a form of presence: quiet, deliberate and impossible to overlook.
