Loro Piana at the Menil: The Fall/Winter 2026-27 Campaign

Loro Piana’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 campaign unfolds across Houston’s de Menil landscape, where domestic life, modern architecture and art exist in rare equilibrium. Mario Sorrenti photographs the collection in John and Dominique de Menil’s former home, the Menil Collection and the Rothko Chapel. In these quietly charged spaces, cashmere, suede and precise tailoring seem less displayed than absorbed into their surroundings.

Sigrid de L’Epine and her husband, the artist Jean-Charles Blais, appear alongside Selena Forrest, Long Li, Colin Otto and the wider cast, moving through the rooms with an ease that resists the usual fashion tableau. The accompanying film is threaded with Richard “Dickie” Landry’s improvised saxophone. A close collaborator of the de Menils, he performed at the Rothko Chapel in 1987 to celebrate the Menil Collection's opening. A hand, a stride, the fall of fabric in a room: the clothes reveal themselves through use, gesture and touch.

The campaign’s attentiveness extends beyond the image. Loro Piana is supporting the Menil Collection as it approaches its fortieth anniversary in 2027 and contributing to the Rothko Chapel’s Opening Spaces initiative, a project dedicated to preserving the 55-year-old building and expanding its north campus. The gesture belongs to the same world as Sorrenti’s photographs, one in which luxury is measured not by display, but by the care given to material, memory and time.
