After the runway lights dim and creative teams move on to the next season, fashion photographer Winy turns her lens to the faces captured in the immediate aftermath of the Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week shows.
In After the Walk, the glamour and intensity of the runway dissipate. In their place, a quieter register emerges—one shaped by personality and achievement. With the temperature of the show still present, Xiaowen Ju is photographed right after walking Miu Miu FW26, while Jack Rettig appears following the Prada FW26 show. Spanning multiple continents, the series brings together models who walked some of the season’s most anticipated shows, including Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Ann Demeulemeester, Jil Sander, Zegna, and more.
Based in Paris, Winy’s work sits within a lineage of fashion photography attentive to the street and to lived presence, recalling the candid acuity associated with Bill Cunningham and his New York Times street‑style archive. Where Winy departs is in her focus on the point at which youth culture, beauty, and intimacy converge, outside of performance. Candid, poised, and exacting, these portraits preserve a quality long associated with street‑style photography: the human touch.
The following gallery presents off‑duty models photographed just after walking their respective shows—each image a moment of clarity following the intensity of fashion week.
