Barbour x ERDEM Unveil New Collaboration for Spring

Building on the success of their_Spring-Summer 24_runway collaboration, British heritage brandBarbourand London-based fashion houseERDEMannounce a five-piece capsule collection for spring. This collection merges_Barbour_’s legacy of practical, utilitarian outerwear with_ERDEM_’s signature femininity, forming a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.

“I was inspired by the extraordinary Barbour archive, particularly their fabrications and hardware,” saysErdem Moralioglu MBE, Creative Director of_ERDEM_. “I loved the idea of translating their heritage of practical, utilitarian details and combining it with my language of the feminine.”

The collection features four key outerwear styles, each reflecting the brands' identities. The_Beauflower jacket_reimagines the classic_Barbour Beaufort waxed jacket_, mixing patchworked waxed cotton with an inky rose bloom overprint. The_Dhalia_plays with proportions, introducing an exploded peplum waist and a detachable tartan hood, along with an etched floral overprint that evokes_ERDEM_’s romantic aesthetic. The_Clover_, a reversible swing jacket in dry wax cotton, showcases_Barbour_’s iconic tartan lining paired with a striking overprinted grass-green rose motif. Lastly, the_Constance wax jacket_combines_ERDEM_’s tailored silhouette with utilitarian details for a refined, functional piece.

These four outerwear styles are available in sand and olive colorways, with the_Dhalia_,Clover, and_Constance_jackets also offering a detachable hood featuring a checked interior and floral overprint for added versatility. In addition to the_Barbour x ERDEM_capsule, the two emblematic brands have launched a_ReLoved_initiative. As part of this initiative, twenty-five vintage_Beaufort jackets_have been carefully restored and reimagined, adorned with oversized cord collars and silver hardware eyelets. These reworked pieces, taking inspiration from the aforementioned_ERDEMSpring-Summer 2024_runway show, will be available exclusively at_Harrods_.
