Creative directors, Kyu Shin and Ji Park present their SS19 collection for Blindness in London. This is their debut collection as part of London Fashion Week, Men’s. The inspiration behind the collection is to dissect the incomparable vulnerabilities of experiencing ‘First Love’.
Conflict, romance, fantasy, allure, and, well, blindness are notions manifested in the collection by the use of sheer tulle, imaginative proportions, playful ruffles, sophisticated layering and their signature pearls – obstructing the eyes as masks in many looks. The collection’s defiance of binary norms is unmistakable as shown through their exploration of gender-fluidity and unabashed display of self-expression.
