Givenchy's Latest Obsession: The Pinch Bag

New for the fall season, Givenchy unveils the Pinch Bag — a style defined by architectural cuts, material innovation, and artisanal craft. First shown on the runway in Paris as part of the Givenchy Fall-Winter 2025 women’s collection by Creative Director, Sarah Burton, the new design takes its name from the gestures of handcraft: cutting, folding, and pinching to achieve a precise form.

The Givenchy Pinch bag features a striking construction made from natural-grained box leather, meticulously cut and folded like an envelope to create a sharp silhouette with rounded edges. Gold-finished metallic brackets serve both as a signature element and provide structural support. The addition of Palmellato leather adds texture and visual interest, its shiny, crepe-like finish offset by contrasting edges that evoke movement and energy.

The Pinch Bag is available in multiple sizes, including black, ivory, fall colors (deep red & acid yellow), and mirror finishes like gold and silver. Each version offers unique details - including a concealed mirror on medium and small versions - making this bag both versatile and thoughtful.
