Creative Director Jonathan Anderson presents LOEWE, fall winter 2019. Unmistakable elegance is what we have come to expect from Jonathan Anderson’s creations at LOEWE and once again we are challenged to reimagine what that means this season. Deconstruction played a central role in repurposing garments to create new shapes and ways to wear them. Knitwear is repurposed into details, sweaters blend into skirts, separates become single silhouettes, layers reveal only more layers; it’s as if spring details melted effortlessly into fall.
Anderson has a masterful touch of modifying minute details that enhance or change the perception of a look or garment, entirely. To do this with the luxurious fabrics and weaves that LOEWE employs while staying true to his playful nature is why we are always left with a heightened idea of what luxury can be.
