On Friday, October 17th, Loro Piana celebrated its long-standing ties with New York with an exceptional installation at Bergdorf Goodman. Coinciding with the launch of exclusive offerings such as personalization service for the Grande Unita scarf and Unito blanket, the iconic New York flagship unveiled themed windows and a façade animation. Now on view, the enchanting windows are transformed into a refined Art Deco treatment—an ode to Loro Piana's founding values and the Maison's longstanding ties with New York. Populated with wooden puppets representing Loro Piana artisans and featuring a rich palette of luminous gold, deep brown, dark green, the scenes reveal the Maison's heritage and history since 1924.

For example, the "Masters of Fibers" window showcases cashmere bales transported by miniature trucks from around the world, while another celebrates Baby Cashmere with floating goats suspended over clouds against a nuanced brown background. Other windows highlight the thistle flower motif, Quarona factory artisans, Marcello Dudovich's painterly sketches, and finally, the vision behind displaying textiles in its first concept store where fabric bolts are stacked horizontally like traditional shop displays.

This scenic backdrop seamlessly transitions into a field of thistle flowers, the Maison's iconic emblem. As the animation progresses, a thread gracefully dances above, taking shape of the Maison's Quarona factory and eventually circling the globe before arriving in New York, where a Loro Piana truck laden with raw fiber bales traverses the façade. The city skyline then transforms into the contours of Bergdorf Goodman itself, culminating in a visually stunning spectacle that brings to life the building's architecture through a brilliant display of light. This delightful collaboration marks a momentous occasion for the House, as it continues to weave tradition, innovation, and unparalleled quality into each and every thread.
