Loro Piana guided guests on a joyful journey through colors and seasons for S/S 2026. While last season focused on material, with the introduction of the revolutionary Royal Lightness fabric, this season centered on a layered chromatic experience. Yellow, marigold, turquoise, and pale pink danced together in a symphony orchestrated in the silk, cashmere, and Merino wool that have been the Maison’s signatures for decades. Silhouettes were graceful yet voluminous, as the finest fabrics were beautifully draped on slouchy jackets, structured trousers, subtly structured wide-legged trousers, and luxurious peacoats. Understated collars were accented by covetous ascots. Meanwhile, beanies added a touch of casual cool to effortlessly elegant looks fitting for a weekend on an English countryside estate.

Loro Piana’s bags and headwear this season were particularly stellar. The creativity and relentless yet discerning innovation at the heart of the brand were emphasized in voluminous hats that introduced wholly new silhouettes both for the brand and the fashion world. Meanwhile, a versatile array of bags provided a complete oeuvre for today’s “Renaissance men and women” who are equally comfortable on horseback, in the boardroom, or at a black-tie event. A personal favorite bag was the new extra softie, remarkable for its supple leather, understated structure, light reinforcements, and exceptional durability. The loom bag, a key piece from last season, returned in a sumptuous nubuck. The gioia shopper gracefully referenced Loro’s long-time affinity for sailing through the incorporation of nautical rope. And a new satin vanity case, complete with mother-of-pearl charms, should become an essential for the discerning traveler next summer. The lock details recurring through the bag collection were all made from natural stones, ensuring that no two pieces are alike in a powerful metaphor for both the exclusivity and the deep respect for individuality that are synonymous with the Loro name.
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection re-affirmed, again, why Loro Piana is the final word in quiet luxury. From January to August, rainy days on stormy seas to champagne picnics in a balmy breeze, Loro’s latest offering includes everything that even the most exacting of clients could need as they move through the coming seasons. And the Maison’s rich color palette, a delightful and carefully curated fusion of traditional elegance and vibrant optimism, struck all the right chords.
