As the French Maison celebrates 130 years of its emblematic signature, the Monogram, a novel experience emerges in the Soho neighborhood of New York, the transient Louis Vuitton Hotel. First conceived by Georges Vuitton in 1896 as a tribute to his father, Louis, the Monogram design was first inspired by Neo-Gothic ornamentation and Japonism. From its storied history adorning trunks across long voyages by air, land, or sea, the Monogram has become an enduring symbol, long celebrating the art of travel.
In Soho, guests of the temporal Louis Vuitton Hotel are greeted by these icons of travel, including trunks, the Speedy, Keepall, Noé, Alma, and Neverfull bags, in addition to exclusive Monogram editions. With a warm welcome through the Keepall Lobby, a quick check-in at the Speedy Room 1930, followed by a quick lift at the Neverfull Gym, and do not forget a dash of indulgence at the Noé Champagne Bar before taking in the view from the Alma Terrace. At the Hotel, guests will also discover dedicated Care Services artisans to restore their most beloved Louis Vuitton bags in need of tidying up. Additionally, exclusive personalization services, hot-stamping, and unique patches will also be available exclusively at the Louis Vuitton Hotel.
