Moncler and Jil Sander present a co-designed collection centered on the tranquil elegance of the natural world. Born in the design codes of Jil Sander, known for its clean lines and neutral colors, the collection receives a functional interpretation through Moncler's signature aesthetic and winter insulation expertise. From snow-capped peaks to dense foliage, the natural world’s forms inspire bulbous jackets, padded cardigans, and dome-shaped skirts. This guiding design expands into a curved and circular jewelry-like silver-tone pin, which echoes the outline of Moncler’s logo as a subtle nod to the brand’s identity. Soft double weight wool, lightweight washed cotton twill, and an innovative long-haired wool conditioned for fluid movement add precious materials to the collection. Plush cardigans and coats are additionally layered in Moncler's signature down-filled nylon for forward-thinking warmth.
First unveiled at Moncler's City of Genius in Shanghai last year, the collection was presented in a circular space with 360-degree curved screens that displayed a simulation of nature's beauty.
Moncler + JIL SANDER is available now in select Moncler stores, on moncler.com, in select JIL SANDER stores, and on jilsander.com. The collection will be featured in a special pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku, Japan, with menswear on the ground floor from November 19 to December 2, and womenswear on the third floor from November 19 to 25.
