RAIN Magazine is built on transparency. We believe you should be able to read about fashion, culture, and art without being tracked across the internet.

This page explains what data we collect, what we don't, and the third-party services involved in delivering this website. Everything stated here can be verified with a quick look at your browser's developer tools — we have nothing to hide.

No Paywall

All of our content is freely accessible. There are no paywalls, no gated articles, and no account required. Every interview, editorial, and fashion week report is available to everyone.

No Third-Party Tracking

We do not run any third-party scripts that sell your data or track you across other websites. There are no social media trackers, remarketing pixels, or fingerprinting scripts on this site. Your browsing activity on RAIN Magazine stays on RAIN Magazine.

Advertising

We do display advertisements to support our editorial work. However, these ads are never personalized based on cookies, browsing history, or any form of user profiling. Ad placement is contextual only — based on the theme or category of the content you are reading, not on who you are.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics as our sole analytics tool. Plausible is a lightweight, open-source, privacy-focused alternative to traditional analytics platforms. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. All data is aggregated — we see page views and referral sources, never individual visitors.

Infrastructure

The website is served through Cloudflare, which may process IP addresses as part of standard CDN and security operations. This is necessary to deliver pages quickly and protect against malicious traffic. We do not access or store this data ourselves.

Some images are delivered via Cloudinary, an image CDN. Cloudinary processes requests to serve optimized images but does not set tracking cookies or collect personal information through our usage.

No JavaScript Required

The entire website has been designed to be fully functional without JavaScript. Scripts are used only for progressive enhancement — things like image lightboxes, smoother transitions, and live previews. If you choose to disable JavaScript in your browser, you will still be able to read every article and navigate every page.

RSS Feed

If you prefer to consume our content without visiting the website at all, an RSS feed is available. Use it with any feed reader of your choice — no account, no tracking, no cookies.
