Schiaparelli Opens By Appointment Only Salon-Boutique at Landmark Prince's in Hong Kong

Last month, Maison Schiaparelli announced the opening of its salon-boutique in Hong Kong, bringing the spirit of 21 Place Vendôme to Landmark Prince's building. Offering its clientele an opportunity to immerse in history and heritage, the surrealist salon is an exceptional expression of the Maison. Conceived by Creative Director Daniel Roseberry and architecture studio Halleroed, the Hong Kong boutique is imagined as a surrealist boudoir, part private apartment and part dreamscape. Unfolding across interconnected rooms, the Schiaparelli universe is complemented by brushed metal façades, lacquered wood, mirrored surfaces, and marble-patterned flooring.

Past the golden façade, guests are welcomed to a living room which serves as a decadent VIP dressing room while gold mosaic alcoves are conceived as a jewel chamber. Not to be missed, a sculptural bathtub is on display and filled with bijoux, further blurring the lines between private apartment and surrealist dreamscape. Set above the enchanting space, a ceiling displaying hand drawn illustrations by Daniel Roseberry illuminate the codes of the Maison. Keyhole and padlock dances along with celestial symbols and tromp-l'œil effects, reflecting Elsa Schiaparelli's embrace of the 1930s Surrealism movement. Realizing collaborations with Surrealists Salvador Dali, Jean Cocteau, Alberto Giacometti, Schiaparelli transformed fashion into artistic expression, filled with humor, the subconscious, and jest.

Additional highlights include the Secret and Face bags, anatomical jewelry, and sculptural tailoring from the latest collections. Beginning its journey in Hong Kong, Schiaparelli reaffirms its commitment to its clientele and offers a universe where imagination, craftsmanship, and surrealism thrive.

As Delphine Bellini, CEO of the Maison remarked:
