Christian Dior announces the grand opening of its flagship boutique on the legendary Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California – one of the world's most esteemed destinations for high-end fashion. Inspired by Monsieur Christian Diors' enduring affinity for architecture, nature, and fashion — nurtured during his years spent exploring the American West Coast — this stunning addition embodies the essence of luxury retailing.
Designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, House of Dior Beverly Hills is imagined as an Eden-like oasis, evoking the serene ambiance of an 18th-century French garden. Upon entering this majestic "realm of dreams," visitors are enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere punctuated by a lush landscape. Implemented by landscape architect, Peter Wirtz, this three-story garden is framed by a monumental central staircase and an undulating limestone and stucco façade that dissolve into the surrounding landscape. This idyllic setting is the backdrop to explore Dior's offerings of women's and men's ready-to-wear; leather goods, jewelry, fragrances, and limited-edition collaborations offered specifically for this flagship store.
A feature of House of Dior Beverly Hills is its curated selection of artworks, featuring works by esteemed artists such as Karine Laval, Adam McEwen, Florian & Michael Quistrebert, Jorge Galindo, and John McAllister. Furniture pieces by Franck Evennou, Ado Chale, Vladimir Kagan, and custom panels crafted from gilded metal, create a captivating visual narrative that underpins the boutique's sophisticated ambiance.
Located on the third floor is Monsieur Dior, the House's first restaurant outside of Paris, where Three-Star-Michelin Chef, Dominique Crenn, crafts a menu inspired by Dior's history. Upon entering guests are greeted by a large photograph of Château de La Colle Noire, Christian Dior's estate in Provence where the couturier rested between shows. Covered by a botanical wall and a commissioned painting by Nicole Wittenberg, this serene space delivers the finest in French haute gastronomy.
Private VIP lounges on the top floor echo the intimacy of the House's famed headquarters at 30 Montaigne, with a secluded verdant terrace offering sweeping views of Beverly Hills. As an ultimate surprise, the window displays are adorned with miniature vignettes, reminiscent of film sequences, capturing red carpets and behind-the-scenes moments of Christian Dior’s history in the United States.
