Bottega Veneta is giving perfume its own accessories. A new campaign pairs Alta, the ten-fragrance collection launched in June, with woven leather bottle holders, cosmetic pouches, and a fish-shaped hair comb. The appeal is straightforward: everyday objects, thoughtfully crafted.
Alta takes its cue from Intrecciato, the house’s signature leather weave. Each fragrance pairs an Italian ingredient with one from elsewhere: Italian basil meets Madagascan vetiver in Always Now, while Montebello combines Italian citrus with North African neroli. Ricordami takes a less expected turn, pairing stracciatella ice cream with oakwood.
The holders translate that idea back into leather. Made from Intrecciato piccolo calfskin, they fit the 50ml and 100ml bottles; a charm version holds the 10ml size. Both come in Alabaster, Black, Cardinal, Espresso and Deep Mahogany, with Basil green also available for the charm.
Geometric cosmetic pouches come in several sizes and two colors. The standout is the Sardine hair comb: a sculptural fish in a gold-finish, with a leather lanyard. It brings a little wit to the daily routine. Alta’s accessories are offered exclusively at Bottega Veneta boutiques and online.
