Set inside Terminal Warehouse, with its exposed brick walls and sculptural pieces by conceptual artist Walter De Maria, the runway offered the perfect backdrop for this season’s emphasis on minimalism. Designed by Creative Director Veronica Leoni, the collection stayed true to Leoni’s mission of recentering Calvin Klein’s American modernism through timeless fashion and precise tailoring. As Pamela Anderson, Maya Boyd, and Sadie Sink watched from the front row, the first model emerged in an all-black look: seamless trousers paired with a high-neck collar.
In this collection, Leoni purposefully references Klein’s belief that the body is central to the minimalist look, using tailoring that accentuates each wearer while stripping each outfit back to its essentials. This idea comes through in the show’s key looks, which demonstrate how balance and minimalism can be achieved across a range of womenswear styles. The suits were particularly strong this season, with color blocking and oversized proportions creating power within otherwise classic silhouettes. Primary colors appeared throughout the collection, creating memorable contrasts and showing that minimalism does not have to be monotonous. Electric blue, butter yellow, and scarlet red stood out across the runway, introducing sharp new accents and base colors for spring.
The collection’s dresses deepened the relationship between tailoring and asymmetry, modernizing otherwise timeless pieces through sharp, off-balance silhouettes. Looks 46 and 50 exemplified this balance between classic structure and contemporary edge. Alex Consani also appeared in an elegant royal blue gown with raw hems, a reminder that minimalism can still be multifaceted.
