LOEWE Spring/Summer2027: A New Language of Dressing

5 October 2026

For Spring/Summer 2027, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez continue to shape a new chapter at LOEWE through a wardrobe that brings together familiarity and experimentation. Described by the designers as an “old-world – new-world conversation,” the collection creates a dialogue between American pragmatism and Spanish Baroque, combining modernist color blocks with more dramatic gestures and the rich heritage of the house.

The skirts and dresses are enlarged and given disproportionate proportions in looks one and five, moving them away from their classic construction. The collection gives a more deconstructed approach to tailoring, where familiar wardrobe staples become almost sculptural and take on a new sense of movement.

Traditional tailoring is given an unexpected new dimension throughout the collection. In several looks, familiar pieces such as trousers and skirts are deliberately opened in looks thirty-six and forty.

Sporty elements then bring a sense of movement and practicality to the collection, while more unconventional pieces challenge the traditional structure of clothing. In Looks twenty-one and thirty-eight, windbreakers appear alongside structured tailoring and dresses, creating silhouettes that feel deliberately unexpected.

Craftsmanship remains at the heart of the collection, expressed through raised floral motifs made from caviar beads and glass beads, bringing texture and dimension to dresses and shorts in looks sixty-one and sixty-three. The delicacy of these floral details contrasts with the colorful and deconstructed silhouettes, creating an unexpected balance between softness and structure.

The collection’s references to American wardrobe archetypes are transformed rather than reproduced literally. Look twenty-seven, with its colorful combination and capri, and the draped silhouette of look twenty-four bring a more expressive and almost Baroque dimension to familiar dressing. This meeting of cultures is central to the collection, with American modernism and Spanish drama existing side by side.

Ultimately, LOEWE Spring/Summer 2027 is an exploration of contrast, identity and lived experience: sporty and sophisticated, structured and deconstructed, vivid and delicate, American and Spanish. McCollough and Hernandez propose a wardrobe that is not simply about dressing, but about how clothing becomes connected to the body, memory and the individual wearing it. A new LOEWE language emerges through this balance; one grounded in craftsmanship, movement, color and, above all, the person underneath the clothes.
