There is something enticing and unruly about a Miu Miu knit. From the beginning, knitwear has been a canvas for the house’s experiments in embellishment and proportion: embroidered or jeweled, patterned or plain. This season, Fair Isle motifs, Aran cables and quiet greys and browns return with the air of old favorites, then lean just enough into the present.
The contrast is central: featherweight against chunky, abbreviated against oversized, feminine against an eased masculine fit. Proportion makes each piece feel individual, while styling shifts its character — from the familiar to the unexpected, polished to undone.
Even the yarn carries a second life. Regenerated wool and cashmere, recovered from Miu Miu’s own production remnants, return in sportswear-inspired silhouettes with drawstrings and logo details, compact vintage-minded cuts and reinterpreted Aran cables. Because the remnants determine the palette, each piece begins with what already exists; garments made with regenerated yarns carry a dedicated label.
