Glenn Martens presents the Y/Project SS23 show in Paris. Taking inspiration from his second collaboration with the Jean Paul Gaultier brand for a ready-to-wear line, where emblematic Y/Project models are projected onto outfits, the illusion continues with this collection. Collars and belts have been scanned and printed onto silhouettes providing the collection a heavy dose of trompe-l’oeil (illusions).
The elegance of Y/Project silhouettes is always mysterious. Dresses and blazers are cut with detachable panels. Thanks to transparent nylon straps, tank tops look like they’re floating. A perfect fit with the Evergreen line, launched in 2020, a range of eco-responsible pieces that is enriched each season with new models.
